Ghostrx is looking for Emergency Room RNs for coverage in at the Indian Health Services (IHS) Chinle, AZ
Contract Length
- 6 month with a 6 month option to extend
Start date - 3-6 weeks from offer
Work Hours
- 7 on/7 off ( 12 hours days and nights available)
Two week Pay Cycle - $5915.40/2 weeks for TRAVEL. Local rate is $70/REG $105/OT
Travel - 3 days work the first week of the two week cycle:
36-hour week taxable
$34.64/hour
$4.93/H&W
$770/weekly lodging
$476/weekly M&I
$2,670.52 weekly gross pre-tax
The following week is a 48- hour week - four days work
$34.64/hour taxable
$4.93/H&W
$51.96/OT after 40
$770/weekly lodging

Requirements
- Two years of Emergency nursing experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC
- Any state license
- Accredited Nursing Degree – listing accredited school should suffice if you don’t have diploma handy.
Responsibilities
- The RN exercises knowledge of the Emergency Severity Index triage process to guide decision-making and rapidly access patients requiring emergency care
- Apply scientific and psychosocial nursing theory, principles, and techniques to provide individualized, goal-oriented nursing care to all patients
- Utilize knowledge of the biological aspects of disease processes and illness to recognize complications and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions
- The RN analyze results of various medical procedures and translate them into appropriate nursing interventions
- Respond to emergency codes, perform clinical procedures (e.g
- IV access, phlebotomy, EKG, respiratory treatments), and manage hospital equipment and supplies
- Coordinate care teams, offer guidance and support to the healthcare team, and assist with daily quality checks
- Ensure narcotic inventory, daily checks, and logs are completed in a timely manner
- Provide appropriate health education to patients, their families, and the healthcare team
- The RN administers medications
