What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barista position at Ghostlight Coffee?
PART TIME BARISTA/CUSTOMER SERVICE at our Original Dayton location in the historic South Park neighborhood
WEEKEND AVAILABILITY will be necessary
Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold drinks in accordance with customer needs
- Serve baked goods and other food items to customers
- Interact with customers regularly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Maintain a clean shop including customer areas, restrooms, etc
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Maintain the culture of the shop as requested by management
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a barista, server or other customer service position
- Ability to work mostly weekends
- Demonstrable knowledge of coffee & tea preparation techniques, food safety issues and customer service skills
- High integrity with a great attendance record
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
Weekend shifts mandatory.
