Travel Nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. This 13-week travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in an ICU Stepdown Unit, providing essential care to adult patients focusing on post-ICU recovery and COVID cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement plans of care that meet the individual needs of each patient.
- Coordinate patient care across hospital departments to ensure seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Advocate for patient safety and quality improvement by identifying and addressing potential risks and areas for improvement.
- Utilize the AACN Synergy Model to guide patient care decisions and ensure alignment with evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or covered by compact.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a similar setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday rotations.
