Travel Nurse RN - PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
We are seeking a dedicated Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel position in Warren, Ohio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment with a diverse patient population.
About the Position
- Duration: 13-week contract (options for 8 or 16 weeks)
- Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Every other weekend and holiday
This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who excel in fast-paced settings and seek to enhance their skills in cardiac, neuro, and respiratory care. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU or similar healthcare setting.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, neuro, and respiratory cases
- Manage patient ratios of 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5 during night shifts, depending on acuity
- Collaborate with ancillary staff, including 2 CNAs per shift, to ensure comprehensive patient care
