Physician / Medical Director - Skilled Nursing Facilities / Nursing Homes - Full Time or Part Time

Our client is seeking a Physician / Medical Director to travel to 1-2 Nursing Homes per day around Somerset, PA. The position will focus on chronic disease management.
Nurse Practitioners will provide support as it relates to initial assessments and documentation.

Schedule (full time or part time options):
- Full Time: Monday – Friday, 8-4:30 PM (with flexibility)
- No weekends (unless preferred)
- Part Time: 8-32 hours per week
- Ability to see patients in the morning/early afternoon and finish the day at home
Compensation: $230,000 - $280,000/yr base salary, dependent on experience, plus $10k-$12k in bonus potential per quarter (~$40k-$50k annually)
- 4 weeks PTO
- 401k with company match (100% of contributions on the first 3% and 50% on the contributions from 3-5%)
- CME yearly allowance of $3000 and 3 CME days per year
- All professional licenses covered, including malpractice

Medical Director Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical evaluations for an Adult Geriatric population (~18-20 patients/day)
- Train, educate and lead an interdisciplinary team, including Advanced Practice Providers
- Acts as a medical liaison between the facility and others in the medical community such as specialists and hospital staff
- Perform comprehensive physical evaluations for an Adult Geriatric population
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) and licensure to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania
- Board certified in Internal Medicine, Family Practice or related specialty
- 1 year of experience as a Physician
