- Employment Type: Remote
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1450-$1550
- Duration: 14 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour days, Monday to Friday
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Start Date: April 14, 2025
- Location: Little Rock, AR - A vibrant city known for its rich history, cultural attractions, and beautiful natural surroundings. Little Rock offers a blend of urban and outdoor experiences, with numerous parks, museums, and a thriving arts scene.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an inpatient coder
- Certification as CCS, RHIT, or RHIA
- Proficiency in EPIC and 3M Encoder (360 preferred)
- Clinical knowledge for verifying CC/MCCs and understanding labs, imaging, and treatments
- Experience with queries such as rule in/rule out, PDx, underlying cause, complications
- Knowledge in all service medicine areas including OB/NB, Psych, and Traumas
- Accurately code inpatient records with a productivity rate of 1.5 to 2 charts per hour
- Touch at least 7-10 new cases daily
- Manage high dollar accounts (over $100K) daily, with cases potentially having 30 days stay
- Collaborate with the CDI team, focusing on adult medicine while enhancing knowledge in OB/NB and Psych
