We are looking for a professional with extensive Workday Payroll experience and a background in healthcare payroll management, including handling collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) across various unions. A bachelor’s degree is required, and a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is highly preferred.

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- 5 years of payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Workday Payroll experience (required).
- Experience in healthcare payroll management, particularly in hospital or clinical settings (required).
- Familiarity with union contracts and collective bargaining agreements.
- CPP certification (preferred but not required).
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing using Workday, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and department leaders to maintain up-to-date employee data, pay structures, and deductions within the Workday system.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related union matters.
- Interpret and administer payroll in accordance with various union contracts (CBAs), ensuring adherence to negotiated wages, benefits, and regulations.
- Utilize healthcare industry knowledge to ensure accurate handling of special pay codes, shift differentials, and regulatory requirements unique to healthcare environments.
- Identify areas for process optimization and implement best practices for operational efficiency.
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to provide insights into labor costs, headcount, and overtime, delivering recommendations for cost management.
- Supervise and mentor payroll staff, providing training and guidance on system updates, regulatory changes, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure proper internal controls and compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and responses for payroll-related audits.
