Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1880-$2020
- Setting: Cardiac Medical Stepdown Unit
- Start Date: 5/5/2025
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) VA license in state of practice or covered by compact
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments
- Create and implement care plans, evaluate treatment effectiveness
- Administer medications safely and in accordance with policies
- Coordinate patient care across hospital departments
- Advocate for patient safety and participate in quality improvement
- Manage care for patients with multi-system organ failure
- Utilize AACN Synergy Model for patient care
- Respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with clinical judgment
