GHSP, based in West Michigan, is a leading global supplier of mechanical and electromechanical systems to the automotive, transportation, and appliance industry. GHSP is currently hiring a Manufacturing Technician (Molding) to join our Manufacturing team in Hart.
What You'll Do (Job Functions)
Assist in maintaining and enhancing lean manufacturing practices. Assists in maintaining production equipment in the molding department. Assures that processes are in control using specific tools related to process function. Identify and eliminate sources of downtime using root cause analysis to identify sources of downtime and extraneous variations. Improve manufacturing processes after program launch by making machine and process refinements. Work with the team to maintain documentation and visual aids. Maintain knowledge of new process technology through trade publications, benchmarking, trainings, etc.

Requirements:What You'll Bring (Requirements)
Associate's degree in general engineering or equivalent (Preferred)
2 years – using lean manufacturing principles in the automotive supply industry (Required)
2 years - In a related technical field or equivalent required. (Required)
