GI Alliance is seeking an experienced Anesthesia Operations Manager.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position Purpose
Oversee the day-to-day operations and provide support for leadership of the anesthesia service line while working collaboratively with facility and practice leadership in the assigned region.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree from an accredited college preferred.
Experience: Minimum three (3) years of administrative experience required; healthcare industry preferred

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

- Manage day-to-day operations of anesthesia service line in assigned region
- Responsible for payroll and time keeping data entry, verification, and submission
- Serve as a liaison the region and the Senior anesthesia leadership team, operations, and clinic/center/office managers to enhance communication, resolve issues, and formulate best practice
- Pull data from applicable systems to support departmental efforts including but not limited to site specific financial, productivity, and budget reporting
- Coordinate with the anesthesia department to ensure timely recruitment, hiring, and credentialing to ensure programs are appropriately staffed
- Analyze region’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and constraints
- Communicate routinely with facility, clinical operations team, and leadership to facilitate the flow of accurate, timely information and facilitate efficient operations
- Assist as needed with all program startups
- Implement and track QI program performance and other metrics as indicated
- Manage and delegate appropriate tasks to anesthesia department administrative staff
- Works collaboratively with team to identify means of improving patent services and implementing organizational strategies for improving efficiency and growth
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

- Must have a valid driver’s license for occasional travel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in budgeting and financial analysis
- Ability to creatively problem solve for work flows and business needs
- Experience in effectively managing teams and facilitating teamwork.

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Self-motivated with initiative
- Strong sense of ethics
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance rules
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance practices
