Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Position purpose
Oversee the management, direction and guidance of the physician compensation team, operations stakeholders, and physicians related to physician’s compensation and financial performance. Facilitate process improvements that improve and enhance the physician compensation experience for key stakeholders.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field required.
EXPERIENCE:

Occasionally lifting files or paper weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally work environment may be very stressful.
Mental/Physical Requirements : Normal office environment. May view computer screens for long periods of time. Occasional evening or weekend work.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks :

- Coordinates all aspects of compensation program administration, e.g., compensation plan modeling, incentive plan administration, fair market value review, policy and procedure development, etc.
- Oversee calculation, delivery, and communication of physician’s compensation in accordance with physician’s compensation contracts, management service agreements and regulatory requirements, including monthly and quarterly physician’s compensation calculations.
- Serve as supervisor for physician compensation team, providing technical and professional training, development, and coaching.
- Review and optimize existing processes for receiving, responding to, and fulfilling ad-hoc report and data requests, and develop new processes as needed.
- Manage the ongoing maintenance of physician’s compensation program including process improvements and physician communication.
- Ensures the coordination, consistency, and compliance of compensation across GI Alliance.
- Serves as a point of contact and provides information and resources to develop solutions for compensation-related inquiries and issues.
- Perform modeling of various scenarios in support of compensation plans and decisions.
- Partners with HRIS, Payroll, Operations, Accounting, Finance and Legal on provider compensation related programs, processes, and practices.
- Maintains current knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to physician contracts and compensation.
- Works with the integration team to develop presentations that simply and effectively integrate new groups to our compensation model.
- Lead and participate in various enterprise compensation related projects as assigned
- Travel as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field required.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three or more years experience in a healthcare-related industry.
- Three or more years experience in an FP&A, Accounting, analytics, or operations focused role.
- Five or more years management experience.
- Experience with physicians services consulting in a multi-location physician’s practice is preferred.
- Experience in physician compensation preferred.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting.
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interface and build relationships with various departments and management levels and stakeholders.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, including an advanced knowledge of Excel and ability to create Powerpoint presentations.
- Ability to effectively elicit / provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers) via strong communication skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Process orientation with the ability to put plans into action.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Collaborative style with the ability to communicate clearly and precisely on technical and operational issues, both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable interacting and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy as well as part of team.
