GIA Cement is hiring a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our growing crew. We’re a family-owned business serving Macomb County with high-quality residential and commercial concrete work. If you’ve got hands-on experience and take pride in a clean finish, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete (sidewalks, driveways, patios, foundations, etc.)
- Use hand and power tools such as floats, trowels, and edgers
- Set forms, grade, and prep surfaces before pouring
- Work with the crew to ensure quality and safety on every job
- Clean up job sites and maintain tools
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a concrete finisher (more experience = better pay)
- Ability to read grade stakes and work with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Must have reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work outside in all weather
