Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, knowledgeable, and creative bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, cocktails, and amari, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, creating weekly cocktail specials, maintaining knowledge of our wine list, engaging with customers, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Your role is crucial in maintaining the warm, vibrant, and inviting atmosphere of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders and provide recommendations based on their tastes.
- Create weekly cocktail specials that are in line with Gia's cocktail menu & ethos
- Assist in creating new cocktails for the cocktail menu
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when applicable, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Provide excellent hospitality by addressing customer needs promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a fine dining restaurant. Experience in an Italian restaurant is a plus
- Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, beverage preparation, wine and amari
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members. Must be a team player!
