GiaCare Inc., in anticipation of a future government contract award, is currently accepting applications for experienced, civilian Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN / LVN) to work alongside the federal government in support of the 88th Medical Group at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (Dayton, Ohio).
Qualifications
Degree / Education : Certificate.
Certifications : American Red Cross First Aid / CPR / AED course.
Experience : 12-months within the 24-months hands-on patient care in an Adult Primary Care outpatient setting.
Board Certification : N / A.
Licensure / Registration : Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a practical or vocational nurse.
Duties
Telehealth nursing is an important part of the nursing services performed and shall be performed at the Medical Center.
Initiate, perform, and complete assigned duties in providing care to variable patient populations.
Complete assigned patient care based on the patient's conditions, use judgment in selecting the appropriate order and sequence of procedures and treatments.
Observe, identify, and respond to the patient's needs for care, including medication, equipment-assisted care, and patient / family education.
Prepare and administer prescribed medications and perform treatments according to established policies / procedures.
