As our NY Style Pizza Maker, you'll be responsible for bringing our customers' pizza dreams to life. You'll use your expertise to create delicious, authentic New York-style pizzas that keep our customers coming back for more. You'll work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that every pizza is made to perfection, using only the freshest and most flavorful ingredients.

You must know how to make a Ny Style Pizza quick and efficiently.

- Know how to work and operate Brick Oven pizza cooked without screens.
- Pay attention to small details
- Stamina to stand on your feet

Preparing & cooking pizza

- You must be able to work long hours, which will include nights and weekends
- Be able to stretch pizza dough according to New York Style hand tossed standards.
- Place pizzas in brick oven without the use of screens directly from wooden peel to oven
- You will be required to prepare a cheese pizza in 1 minute or less
- You will need to work quickly, efficiently and clean and keep up with customers orders
- Expect to prepare a wide variety of pizzas, Stromboli's and calzones as well as thick crust Sicilians..

- Aside from pizza you will be responsible for preparing garlic knots as well daily.
- The other duties such as cooking other meals, such as subs or dinners, salads, chicken wings may also fall on your shoulders if need so by manager.

- Monitoring pizzas by rotating in oven, removing pizzas, cutting and boxing
- Preparing your table of all ingredients each evening and maintaining all food items fresh in F.I.F.O manner

- Assisting customers as team. At times we may need you to answer the phone
- Calling out customers orders by name and ensuring accuracy for all orders
- Awareness and promptness is key

- Constantly keep your eye on the front of the store and assist customers as needed, from answering their questions to ensure they are be rung up at the register

Cleaning
You’ll need to wipe down, scrub and disinfect surfaces and scrape out ovens. You’ll also have the responsibility of sweeping & mopping the floors at the end of your shift.

Food Safety - You must have food safety certification or take & pass food safety test before commencing job. You are responsible for all pizza displayed for slices are recorded on times board and displayed for management and health inspectors. All food labels and rotation maintained for ultimate freshness

Prerequisites:
Education: Some high school or equivalent.

Experience & Skills: 3-5 years previous experience required making New York Style pizza. Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
