Host/Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Host/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong understanding of hospitality. As a Host/Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring smooth operations within the restaurant.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize guest flow.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Aloha POS.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring high standards of presentation.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, maintaining positive guest relations.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of dining areas and service stations.
• Collaborate with team members to provide excellent service during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong guest services skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
• Knowledge of POS systems, specifically Toast POS, is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. We are closed on Sundays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.24 - $17.08 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
