Job Title: Project Manager with experience working on the steel industry.
Project Manager Qualifications:
- The Project Manager must be able to organize, coordinate and facilitate many aspects of projects including but not limited to the following:
- Oversee multiple projects from contract award to final completion.
- Must have the ability to comprehend contract drawings and shop drawings.
- Should be able to perform material and labor takeoffs.
- Must be proficient in Acad or Tekla to perform light steel detailing corrections to shop drawings.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively to coordinate with contractors, suppliers, engineers & architects.
- Create and manage RFI's, submittals, transmittals, change orders, material takeoff and estimate for change orders, etc.
- Must be proficient in various computer programs i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook and AutoCAD.
- Attend site visits / subcontractor meetings.
- Must have experience in field meetings.
- Be able to prioritize assignments while working on multiple concurrent projects.
