POSITION SUMMARY
The Superintendent is responsible for coordinating all field activities to complete each project safely, on time, in budget, and per plans and specs. Essential responsibilities include coordination, planning, and supervision of assistant superintendents, trade contractors and craft labor. A key component of this coordination and planning is effective communication, in addition to being the primary contact for Owners and trade partners on the jobsite, each superintendent maintains clear lines of communication with other departments and AHJs to ensure all required material, equipment and inspections support the project schedule. The Superintendent will be responsible for the construction of each assigned project.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- 3-10 years of related experience and/or training in commercial construction
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Proficiency in building layout
- Concrete and carpentry experience
Computer Skills
- Basic personal computer and e-mail skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Procore and P6
Certificate / Licenses
- First aid and CPR Certificate
- OSHA 10 or 30-Hour Certificate
- OSHA Training pertaining to scaffolds, steel erections, fall protection, excavations and electrical safety
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical and mental demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
