Store Manager

Gibbs Oil Company is looking for an experienced, motivated Store Manager to lead our convenience store team in Exeter NH. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of store operations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while effectively managing store resources.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily store operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
• Leading and developing a team of employees, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintaining product availability.
• Creating and implementing promotional strategies to enhance sales and customer engagement.
• Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and employees.
• Handling customer complaints and inquiries with professionalism and care.
• Analyzing sales reports and metrics to drive business improvements and achieve store targets.

Some Position Requirements are, but not limited to:

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail role
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Extensive knowledge of retail management best practices
• Ability to analyze sales metrics and financial reports
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, mornings, and/or nights as needed
• Proficiency in using point of sale (POS) systems and retail software
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
• Has a valid driver's license and ability to drive on a daily basis for work

Physical Requirements Include:
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. periodically throughout the shift.
