Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of all injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities as related to the injection molding process and supporting processes/systems.
- Order and receive all necessary and approved replacement parts.
- Scheduling all preventive and reactive maintenance work assignments.
- Knowledge of electricity as it relates to a facility, its distribution, and application for equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and operation.
- Knowledge of pneumatic systems, components, and operation.
- Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic prints/schematics.
- Works with various equipment manufacturing tech support persons by phone to resolve issues on injection molding machines.
- Conducts safety audits in conjunction with company’s programs and participates in company safety committee and safety programs.
- Creates and implements preventative maintenance program utilizing Maintain X software for all production equipment.
- Supervise up to six people in planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance as it arises.
- Thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
- Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of industrial maintenance experience and leading others in a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
Employee(s) Group/Department Supervised: Maintenance department staff.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer or standing and walking on the manufacturing floor. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Work Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to manufacturing equipment and machinery, forklifts, and pallets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme hot and wintry weather conditions. Personal protective equipment required in all areas of the production plant.
