CAD Technician – Heavy Civil Construction & Government Contracts

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative CAD Technician to support infrastructure projects, purchasing, compliance, and quality assurance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with government contract requirements, regulations, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with R&D/CAD and other departments to maintain our Gibraltar Quality Management System.
- Create, organize, and update and AutoCAD drawings based on direction from the General Manager.
- Revise red-line drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications and government contract requirements.
- Develop renderings and drawings for media, web, and promotional materials.
- Provide detailed drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) to support purchasing and project requirements.
- Research and develop new products and designs for heavy civil construction operations.
- Standardize published drawings for consistency and clarity.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
✔ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
✔ Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
✔ Experience with BOM creation and product development
✔ Effective communicator and strong team player

✔ Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
