Our welding department is looking for a new teammate! Do you enjoy welding for a hobby or even as a career? Gibraltar is looking for a TIG Welder to join our team. This is a production welding position, and you will be assigned several jobs a day to complete according to prints. This position is a first shift position! We have very competitive wages and 100% covered medical!
As a TIG Welder some of the things you may do during your day include :
- Read blueprints and drawings to locate parts to be welded and weld orders based on established fixturing and blueprints.
- Inspect and verify components for TIG welding per specifications
- Weld components using manual TIG welding equipment in various positions (vertical and horizontal)
- Inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Perform daily housekeeping
