JOB DESCRIPTION: Physician’s Assistant needed to practice primary care skills...Must be patient focused with good communication and assessment skills. Performs new patient consults, follow-up visits, and post-operative follow-ups in the office setting for a vast variety of urological conditions to include BPH, hematuria, elevated PSA, prostatitis, kidney stones, renal mass management, diagnosis and follow-up of prostate, bladder, and renal malignancies, and issues related to the upper and lower urinary tract system, etc. No night or weekend call required. Previous OR and robotic experience preferred.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
1. Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program leading to a Masters Degree and/or meets the Physician Assistant requirements set forth by the Illinois Medical Licensure Board.
2. Must process appropriate certification and degree from a United States Institution of Higher Education.
3. Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Illinois prior to beginning employment.
4. At least two years’ experience in Rural Health practice is preferred but not required.
5. Computer literacy required.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
