Gibson County Coal LLC is looking for a skilled Underground Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As an experienced underground mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of equipment, including electric and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for performing emergency and preventive maintenance on all production and support equipment. You will also conduct permissibility testing and ensure that all equipment meets safety standards. Additionally, you will weld and fabricate mechanical components as needed and splice equipment cables and repair or replace damaged parts.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of five years' experience as an underground mechanic. You should also have a strong understanding of Joy 14CM15 Miners, Fletcher Roof Ranger II Roof Bolters, and VFD Shuttle Cars. Furthermore, you must hold an Experienced Underground Miner Certification and a Federal and Indiana State Electrical Certification.
