Job Description
As a Commercial Fire Alarm Technician at Gibson Electrical LLC, you will play a vital role in the installation and servicing of fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial buildings.
You will work with cutting-edge technology and ensure that our clients' systems meet local codes and safety regulations, helping them protect their people and property.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems in primarily commercial and industrial properties.
- Conduct testing, and system evaluations to ensure functionality and compliance with fire safety codes.
- Program and configure fire alarm control panels and devices.
- Conduct routine maintenance and respond to service calls as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and system specifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, including job reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with clients.
- Stay up-to-date with fire alarm codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Additional certifications are a plus.
- Hold a current State of Ohio Fire Protection License (submit with application)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with fire alarm systems, preferably in commercial settings.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of fire alarm systems and components.
- Experience with fire alarm control panels, sensors, detectors, and related devices.
- Knowledge of local, state, and national fire alarm codes and standards.
- Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail, safety-conscious, and customer-oriented.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials as required.

Salary : $25 - $35
