Gibson Electrical LLC. is looking for motivated young men and women who are interested in pursuing a career in the electrical trade.
Description : Apprentices are considered as an individual who has successfully completed any of the 4 levels of an accredited apprenticeship program before becoming certified as a Journeyman Electrician. Proof of completion is required before any offer of employment is given. Apprentices will work under the direction of the Lead / Foreman / Project Manager on site to assist in the completion of all tasks.
Requirements :
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
- Self-motivated individual
- Ability to understand direction, and work independently to complete tasks assigned
- Must be able to lift 75-100 pounds
- Personal tools
- 2 or more years of experience in the electrical or construction field
- Completion of 1st or 2nd level of Apprenticeship program

Apprenticeship Program :
Gibson Electrical LLC. will act as a Sponsor for apprentices to attend the Apprenticeship program at IEC Central Ohio Chapter.
All future apprentices are required to successfully complete a 90-day Probationary Period before beginning the program.
Upon successful completion, he or she may enroll in the next available class and may choose between a standard school year course, or a 6 month accelerated course.
Payment arrangements are available.
Through the program, apprentices will receive OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications, classroom training, lab training, on-the-job training, and CPR / First Aid certifications.
Upon completion of program and on the job training, apprentices will become certified Journeymen in the State of Ohio.
Must be able to pass a drug screening
