JOB OVERVIEW
- We are seeking an experienced and certified Radiologic Technologist Supervisor to lead our Radiology Department. The ideal candidate will be ARRT-certified, licensed by the state, and possess strong knowledge of radiation safety, ALARA principles, and advanced imaging software. A graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, with 3–5 years of supervisory experience preferred, this individual must demonstrate excellent communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and supporting staff and patient care. This role involves frequent driving, some telecommuting, and physical demands typical of a clinical environment. BLS certification is required.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATOINS, LICENSES, EDUCATION
- The individual must be a graduate of a recognized Radiologic Technologist program or meet clinical experience, didactic course work and alternative eligibility as specified in the ARRT application for certification instructions.
- Three to five years previous supervisory level experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree is encouraged.
- The individual must be licensed by the Department of Health in applicable state as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Certified by the ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist
- Maintain annual renewal/registration with the certifying organization.
- BLS CPR for healthcare providers is required.
