What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager- Landscape/Hardscape position at Gibson Grounds, LLC?
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Landscape/Hardscape Project Manager to work directly with our clients, crews, and office staff to ensure the highest levels of efficiency, design, and service are being offered by our company.
Responsibilities Include:
- On-site and plan take-offs along with all service related issues.
- Installation supervision and quality control.
- Assist with crew mobilizations.
- Reading designs per customer specifications.
- Material procurement.
- All aspects of the administration and installation of large or specialty landscape projects - including overseeing field personnel and managing subcontractors.
- Managing projects to substantial completion and through warranty period.
- Maintain relationships between subcontractors, general contractors, architects, customers, and vendors.
- Constant communication with clientele to include but not limited to project architects, general contractors, and owner's representatives while maintaining quality standards.
- Ensure that weekly/monthly reporting is up to date and meeting deadlines.
- Responsible for relaying progress billing information and collecting receivables.
- Familiarity with commonly used landscape plant species in our area & hardscape experience is a must.
- Inspection of plants.
- Hardscape/Landscape/Grading/Excavation/Drainage/Lawns
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus along with knowledge of grading and drainage.
Qualifications Basic Requirements:
- Ability to analyze situations, consider options, and decide on actions quickly.
- Comprehensive knowledge of landscaping site work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Strong oral and communication skills.
- Proficient in Google Doc, Excel/Sheets, and Gmail; CRM a plus.
- Background in construction, landscape maintenance, or landscape architecture preferred.
