We currently have an opening for the following position :
Job Title : Traffic Assistant
Job Summary :
The Traffic Assistant works with various departments (e.g., Sales, Order Management and Warehouse) and individuals within the company to ensure the retailer shipping guidelines are followed and the product is shipped in a timely manner.
Responsibilities :
- Monitor, process, and ensure that all orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Ship as per customer's routing instructions, route, and troubleshoot problems to make sure shipping remains on schedule
- Responsible for scheduling pick-ups and printing of Bill of Lading using Oracle Application for carrier loads
- Maintain all the paperwork and records of each shipment sent
- Request LTL / FTL freight shipping quotes from carriers
