We are currently seeking a DYNAMIC, SELF-STARTER, who is success driven and highly motivated, to be our new hotel Assistant General Manager for a select-service hotel we manage in Knoxville, TN!
Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager will direct and coordinate activities of hotel to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize its full potential with a balanced focus on people, product and profit. Assist with Supervision of all department heads.
Maintain positive relations with staff through timely complete communication of all items concerning their areas of supervision individually and a department as a whole.
Analyze with each department head their goals identified and the action steps to achieve them within the identified length of time.
Monitor progress on a set schedule and report achievements and problem areas to the General Manager, their effect on profitability and stability of hotel operations.
Ensure a positive guest experience through quality and safety of the hotel product. Required Skills and Qualifications
Management or Supervisor Experience - at least 1 or more years
Marriott/Fosse Experience - at least 1 or more years
Front Desk Experience - at least 1 or more years
Guest service experience
Positive attitude
Attention to detail
Team player
Organizational skills
Professional written and verbal communication
Ability to walk and stand up to 100% of shift.
Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 25 lbs.
1-2 years of leadership/management experience preferred.
At least 3-5 years of hospitality experience is preferred.
College degree preferred but not required.
