What are the responsibilities and job description for the Final Assembly- Gibson Amps position at GIBSON Inc?
Job Summary: Final Assembly technicians are experts in the installation of hardware and electronics on all our amplifier models. They have a complete understanding of how our amps are assembled according to our internal specifications.
Essential Functions:
- The installation of amplifier hardware and electronics.
- Ensuring that each amp is built according to the correct internal design specifications.
- Ensuring amps and speakers are ready for final testing.
- Handles a variety of hand tools.
- Maintaining a safe and clean workspace consistent with our 5S standards.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Previous experience working with hand, power, or pneumatic tools.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to recognize the quality of parts used, and visual inspection of final product.
- Teamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner.
Education and Experience:
- Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand all day and lift up to 30lbs frequently.
