DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tax Mail: Open and sort all incoming tax-related mail, update tracker. Review with Tax Operations Manager for next steps. If necessary, coordinate payments in response to notices.
- Tax Return Filing: Assist with tax return processing, including obtaining officer signatures and mailing of completed tax filings.
- Tax Payment Processing: Assist Tax Operations Manager with tax payments. Coordinate check payments and submitting online payments.
- Vendor Invoice Processing: Process external adviser invoices in a timely manner.
- Other administrative support, as needed by the Tax team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education and Experience: Associate degree or equivalent from a technical school or college. A minimum of two years of administrative support experience in a corporate accounting setting. Knowledge of tax filings would be a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with other departments and external advisers.
Compensation: $25 per hour. Our company considers a range of factors including education and experience when determining base compensation.
