The Senior Payroll Administrator will perform payroll accounting and administrative duties to support the Payroll and Human Resources department. They will work to ensure payment is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations for both salaried and hourly employees. They will also comply with all federal, state, and local regulations as it pertains to timekeeping, tax payments, and any garnishments or levies. They will assist the Senior Payroll and HRIS Administrator, AVP, HR Systems and Payroll and other team members in all levels of payroll/HR-related tasks to provide the best customer service to the employees and management. Help manage the daily HR functions related to system administration, workflows and approvals.

Responsibilities
- Process and maintain employee personnel data as it relates to new hire and various employee changes in UKG.
- Work closely with HR team members to ensure employee data is being entered in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare, analyze and input payroll transactions, follow by auditing payroll data for accuracy.
- Process and reconcile bi-weekly payrolls for multiple companies.
- Act as first level support for all employee questions and requests.
- Create and modify Business Intelligence/People Analytics reports as needed.
- Keep current on all federal, state, and local payroll laws/industry trends.
- Maintain payroll processing manual.
- Keep UKG People Assist job aids/articles current.
- Reconciliation of payroll account and regular audit of outstanding checks.
- Monthly GL processing for IT/Accounting departments.
- Assist with the monthly/quarterly automated bonus form process.
- Train managers and employees on UKG and subsequent modules.
- Prepare data for unemployment claims and employee references as needed.
- Aid with customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
- Support with technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
- Assist with system management for UKG and Timekeeping as needed.
- Assist with departmental projects.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; and two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
