Independent Contractor Courier Driver

About us

We are a small family owned courier service that is growing. We are in need of independent contractor drivers with a CARGO VAN for home improvement supply deliveries. You must have a CARGO VAN. We do not supply the van for you.

Please make sure to note this is a 1099 contract position.

Requirements:

• Must Use Your CARGO VAN
• Full Coverage Insurance
• 1099 Employment Status(Independent Contractor
• Background Check is required. We can further discuss during the interview process.

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience in route driving or courier services preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus but not required, training will be provided

Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate your personal vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations
- Load and unload material from the vehicle
- Complete assigned route to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures, receipts, and any other required documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers at delivery locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle
- Maintain full coverage insurance and requirements needed to legally operate vehicle
