Construction Project Manager

Gideon Constructors, a commercial general contractor headquartered in Valdosta, GA is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join their team. Qualified candidates must be willing to relocate to Valdosta, GA and must be willing to travel to various projects as needed. The successful individual will have considerable experience in planning, organizing, and overseeing multi-family construction projects in all phases of the construction process from inception, including permitting, job site meetings, progress reporting, quality control, and final closeout. The Project Manager will be responsible for the preparation of contract documents including but not limited to, bid packages, subcontracts, change orders, submittals, and RFI’s.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate and communicate with all stakeholders, including clients, team members, and vendors
- Identify and manage project risks and issues
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards
- Monitor and report on project progress to senior management
- Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials
- Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with project management software
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 5-years experience as a Project Manager
- Experience with Procore is preferred
