About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Center Director to lead our learning centers' operations and ensure every student experiences an exceptional learning journey. This role includes overseeing day-to-day business and academic activities, supporting students and staff, and building community relationships to enhance our presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Center Management: Oversee daily operations, manage revenue, meet monthly goals, and ensure an outstanding student experience.
- Customer Service Excellence: Actively engage with students and parents, conduct progress reviews, and hold conferences to enhance student development.
- Staff Development: Lead, train, and evaluate part-time staff; conduct regular team meetings, set actionable goals, and provide feedback to cultivate a motivated and high-performing team.
- Operations: Develop personalized student programs, monitor progress, assess new students, and manage student files.
- Community Engagement and Marketing: Execute marketing initiatives, develop partnerships, and represent Gideon at events, PTA meetings, and other community outreach opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- Math, Reading and Grammar skills: Strong secondary school mathematics and reading skills are an asset
- Proven Leadership experience in an educational setting, ideally having managed or led a learning center, or worked in a school district
- Strong Communication Skills: Confident, professional, and adaptable in a client-driven environment.
- Customer-Centric Mindset with a passion for student success.
- Team-Player: Energetic, outgoing, and committed to creating a positive work environment.
Job Details
- Location: McKinney (TX 121 and Custer Rd) and Frisco (Preston and Stonebrook)
- Job Type: Part-time to start, with potential to transition to Full-Time
- Schedule: Flexible, with shifts Monday-Thursday evenings, Saturdays, and weekend mornings
- Compensation: Competitive rate with performance-based commission
- Background check is mandatory.
