What We Are Looking ForGiesecke Devrient has an outstanding opportunity for a Custodian on 2nd Shift at our Bolingbrook manufacturing plant, working Monday - Friday from 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced worker who enjoys physical tasks, takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment, and is looking for a long-term role. The ideal candidate will also be adaptable and willing to take on new responsibilities as the role evolves. What You Will Do
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing
- Use industrial walk-behind floor scrubber
- Clean restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors, and replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Clean breakrooms and other common areas, ensuring all surfaces, including countertops and appliances, are sanitized and presentable
- Empty trash cans and replace liners throughout the facility
- Clean the exteriors of production machines and equipment
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 6 months of janitorial or custodial experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Consistent attendance
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
The pay rate for this position is $17.00 per hour ($16.00 $1.00 shift differential) and is eligible for an annual bonus.
