Giesecke Devrient is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team on 2nd shift in Bolingbrook, IL. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our production equipment. Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment using technical blueprints and schematics.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure machines are set up according to daily schedules.
- Investigate equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Adhere to ISO standards and ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, eliminating safety hazards.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance department.
- Communicate unresolved issues to management promptly.
- Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability for critical repairs.
- Train colleagues on equipment maintenance and operational procedures.
- Follow and participate in plant safety and housekeeping guidelines.
