Gifford Medical Center is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist or a new graduate to join our team at the Kingwood Health Center in Randolph, VT.
This role involves selecting and administering appropriate evaluation tests based on diagnosis and referral reason, as demonstrated by chart review. The ideal candidate will apply therapeutic techniques throughout treatment, regularly adjusting the treatment plan based on patient progress. They will document evaluation results accurately and thoroughly according to department policies, and collaborate effectively with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members to address special needs and ensure effective treatment plans. Additionally, the individual will maintain productivity standards while efficiently managing non-billable time.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, decision making abilities and attention to detail are required. Strong time management skills along with being an active team member, and hold a strong orientation toward patient-centered treatment are essential.
Requirements:
- Current PT license in the State of Vermont required.
