What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapist position at Gifford Medical Center?
Gifford Medical Center is seeking an experienced or new graduate Physical Therapist to work in our Sharon Health Center location. The successful candidate will select evaluation methods appropriate to the diagnosis, age group and patients physical and emotional status and formulates appropriate treatment plans.
Our team at the Sharon Health Center consists of four physical therapists, an occupational therapist, athletic trainer and a physical therapy assistant that all work together to provide high quality care. Your teammates have decades of practical experience with many specialized areas of interest. We encourage and will support those who wish to pursue a current discipline of interest or develop specific skills in conjunction with the needs of the department.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, decision making abilities and attention to detail are required. Strong time management skills along with being an active team member, and hold a strong orientation toward patient-centered treatment are essential.
Requirements:
- Current PT license in the State of Vermont required.
