General job duties and types of procedures required : Medical and Surgical Patients, Computer skills

Equipment utilized in the unit / dept : Computerized charting and Medication administration pyxis machine for medication pull

Required skills and minimum years of experience : 1 year medical surgical Skill set

Bed size / number of rooms for this unit / dept : 25

Nurse to patient ratio of this unit : 1 : 4-5

Dress Code : Scrubs

Unit / department specific training and orientation program : 3-5 shifts of Training and then onto own assignment

Job Requirements

1 year of Medical Surgical experience

BLS - AHA

ACLS - AHA

Willing to work every other weekend

Ability to interpret telemetry (required)

Schedule Information

12 and 8 hour shifts - will not work alone and would be required to work every other weekend
