Home Health Aide

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including those with autism and in long-term care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Observe and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Support clients with mobility needs, which may include heavy lifting or transferring them safely.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration and patient observation techniques.
• Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is a plus.
• Experience in long-term care or group home settings is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with physical mobility.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
