Appliance Repair Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Appliance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair and field service, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve various mechanical and electrical issues. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients in their homes or businesses to ensure their appliances are functioning properly.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and HVAC systems.
• Assemble and install new appliances as needed, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Operate a box truck for transporting tools and equipment to job sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all duties.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair.
• Proficiency in electrical systems related to household appliances.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
• Excellent customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction.
• Experience in field service operations is preferred.
