Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking skilled ER Nurses (RNs) for travel contracts in New Jersey. This role requires relocation for the duration of the contract. As an ER Nurse, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients experiencing life-threatening conditions, performing triage interventions, and providing critical care in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Your expertise in emergency nursing will be essential in ensuring that patients receive timely, life-saving care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency care to patients with life-threatening conditions in the ER setting.
- Perform triage assessments to prioritize care based on severity and urgency of the patient's condition.
- Collaborate with physicians to assist in examinations, diagnostic testing, and treatments.
- Administer prescribed medications and record medication administration accurately.
- Utilize Epic to document patient information and track medical treatments.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience, with recent experience in the emergency department specialty.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of RN experience, specifically in ER nursing.
- Recent hands-on experience in emergency care, including triage, critical care interventions, and rapid patient assessment.
- Proficiency with Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Must be willing to relocate for the duration of the travel contract in New Jersey.
