A minimum of 1 year as an RN with recent experience in the specialty applied to this position is required. As a stepdown nurse, your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating and monitoring patient progress, including identifying sudden or subtle changes in the patient's medical condition.
- Calculating drug dosage, titrating medication doses, administering continuous medication infusion, and monitoring patients for effects of medication.
- Collaborating with physicians and all other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
