Position Responsibilities
As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services. Duties include :
- Verifying patient identity and reviewing physician orders before procedures.
- Using X-ray equipment to capture images of bones, tissues, and organs as per physician instructions.
- Explaining procedures to patients and answering questions.
- Positioning patients safely and effectively, including assisting those with limited mobility.
- Operating radiologic equipment safely, keeping radiation doses as low as possible.
- Utilizing electronic patient information systems to confirm patient details and exam requirements.
