Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual with strong leadership and communication skills to join our team as a Warehouse Manager overseeing Facilities, Warehouse Operations, Inventory, and Logistics. This role combines leadership in managing the physical infrastructure of the warehouse with responsibility for overseeing the smooth flow of inventory and logistics. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on warehouse experience and strategic oversight to ensure efficient operations, cost control, and safety compliance.
How Youll Help Us Improve Healthcare
Facilities Management :
- Oversee and coordinate the maintenance, repair, upgrades and overall condition of the warehouse and facility, ensuring a safe and operational environment.
- Champion the safety team and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies in regards to : health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections.
Warehouse Operations Management :
Supervise warehouse operations to ensure efficient order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and storage.Implement best practices and identify opportunities for inventory management, reducing waste and improving accuracy and speed in inventory control.Maintain high levels of accuracy, safety and performance in daily warehouse operations.Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities, system performance, compliance checks / audits, repairs, and any safety incidents.Inventory Management and Logistics Supply Chain Coordination :
Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the inventory and logistics department, ensuring efficient processes and accurate inventory levels, and timely stock replenishment.Manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to track shipments, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all logistics activities, including shipping, receiving, and tracking.Team Leadership and Collaboration :
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of warehouse assistants, logistics and inventory staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging open communication and collaboration across teams.Act as the primary point of contact for operational issues and escalate concerns to upper management as needed.A Few Things About You :
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Facilities Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, facilities management, or logistics, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.Strong understanding of inventory management systems, warehouse operations, and logistics processes.Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets to make informed decisions.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Practical knowledge of building codes and safety regulations, including OSHA compliance and environmental policies.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with warehouse management software (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Physical Requirements :
