Job Description:
As the Resident Care Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily care of our residents, ensuring their well-being, comfort, and safety are prioritized at all times. You will lead a team of skilled caregivers, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and work closely with residents and their families to provide the highest quality of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the care of residents, ensuring their needs are met in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner.
Supervise nursing staff and caregivers, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and wellness, updating care plans as necessary.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement personalized care plans.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with state and federal regulations.
Advocate for residents' rights and address concerns or issues raised by residents or their families.
Assist in the recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff and caregivers.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety standards, and all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Active RN or LPN license in the state of Washington.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong knowledge of care planning, resident assessment, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with seniors.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
CPR and First Aid certification required (or willing to obtain upon hire).
