Position Highlights
- Location : State of California (extensive travel required).
- Travel : Up to 70%, covering various regions across California.
- Job Type : Full-time, Part-time, or Contract.
- Compensation : $30 / hour to start, BOE. Prevailing wage rates of $38 per hour may apply.
Primary Responsibilities :
Supervise and manage a team of field technicians / installers.Lead, mentor, and assign tasks to onsite apprentices while monitoring their performance.Schedule and allocate resources to ensure project efficiency and timely delivery.Conduct workplace orientations and onboarding for field technicians, explaining company policies and expectations.Provide technical training for network technicians / installers.Perform physical installations of network equipment and cabling at client sites, including switches, routers, firewalls, surveillance cameras, and structured cabling systems.Travel to client sites across California to oversee and support project execution.Secondary Responsibilities :
Offer internal support for GigaKOM's operations as needed.Job Qualifications : Required :
Valid driver's license with a clean record.No criminal record.Proven experience in managing and supervising teams.Proficiency with basic hand tools and familiarity with ladder work.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to follow precise instructions.Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.Flexibility and availability for extensive travel (70%) across California.3 years of experience in low-voltage cabling (copper and fiber).2 years of experience in physical network device installations.Skills :
