Plastic Extrusion Operator

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical operations, with a focus on extrusion processes and a keen eye for quality control. This role is critical to our manufacturing process, and we require someone who can work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Shift availability:

· 12 hour shift 8am-8pm (Required)

· 12 hour shift 8pm-8am (Required)

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform quality inspections of extruded materials using micrometers and other quality control tools.

- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.

- Utilize lean manufacturing techniques to optimize production processes and minimize waste.

- Handle materials safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth production operations.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.

- Perform basic math calculations to measure materials and record production data.

- Operate a warehouse environment and contribute to the organization's overall efficiency.

**Experience:**

- Previous experience with Blown Film Extrusion REQUIRED.

- Proven experience with mechanical equipment and processes.

- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and quality control methods.

- Experience working in a warehouse environment.

- Basic math skills and the ability to operate a micrometer.

**Skills:**

- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with extrusion processes.

- Experience with lean manufacturing and quality inspection techniques.

- Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.
