Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in landscape maintenance and horticulture, with hands-on experience in gardening and groundskeeping. This role involves weekly mowing, maintaining garden aesthetics, blowing leaves, trimming bushes, and planting as needed.
Duties
- Perform regular landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching.
- Operate and maintain power tools and hand tools for effective gardening tasks.
- Irrigate plants and manage watering schedules to ensure optimal growth conditions.
- Assist in the management of greenhouse operations, including planting seeds and caring for young plants.
- Monitor plant health and identify any signs of disease or pest infestations.
- Collaborate with team members to design and implement garden layouts that enhance visual appeal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of gardening tools and equipment.
- Participate in seasonal planting and harvesting activities as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred.
- Familiarity with greenhouse operations is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with power tools and hand tools used in gardening tasks.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while performing physical tasks.
